BIKE!

Today I got my new toy - a brand new bike! I don't think I have ever had a really new, built especially for me bike in my life. I always had the cast off cousins or the one my sister had grown out of.

I love it - it is a thing of beauty in a Miss Marple kind of a way. Only three gears, but that's all I had all the time I was growing up and I did alright.

I went for a wee try out when we got home after tea with the in laws - admittedly I was a little bit wobbly to start with (been years since I'd been on a bike) but soon got the hang. I may be a bit sore tomorrow even though I didn't go very far.

Looking forward to summer days out with my family on the bikes and getting fit!
