Morning Wheat

This morning I had the rare opportunity to have a little walk in the morning light, followed by 3 dogs and no children. We are very lucky to have Granny and Poppy staying with us for a few days....

As I walked away from the camper full of laughter, I ventured up the driveway, camera in hand of course, to get the mail. A nice quiet walk and a few moments in the wheat field can do wonders for a person, me in particular.

It is hard to believe the wheat is actually growing so soon considering the mass amount of rain and cold weather we have had. Though today, we have been fortunate enough to spend all day outside in the sunny, mid 70's weather...pure bliss.
