N7 Queens view

One of the last cars up the N7 today, utterly empty going north. Never seen it like this, even on Christmas day as its one of the busiest roads in Ireland.

Just over the crest there was two Garda vans and an armed unit arrayed across the road, reminded me of Smoky & the Bear; I was glad I'd put the camera down after taking this shot.

Spent the next 90 minutes staring at N7 waiting for herself. Watching the top cover to see if we could guess when the cavalcade would pass.

Got plenty of notice but not one decent shot, so the empty road it is for today.
