May ?
It's the middle of May and it feels like winter. Driech and cold. yet there were a few spells of bright sunny weather and blue skies. Oscar and I set off at 2 o'clock after a heavy downpour, skies changing to blue. A lovely walk along the loch with Oscar scampering in the waves. Got a shot of an oyster catcher on the rocks and some gulls flying in the blue sky. Headed round the river and up Drumleaccain Hill.
Got bluebell shots and some nice light in the forest.
You'd think one of these would make a suitable blip and they would have done. However , being the perverse person that I am , I have selected a moody shot of Loch Fyne taken before we came off the hill. The blue skies had gone and the brooding , dark clouds appeared. I am always fascinated by the range of cloud formations to be seen and thought I'd share these with tonight. Off course they have brought more rain , but on the plus side , we made it home before the heavens opened up. Wonder what weather Richard has up at Inveraray , 8 miles away. Another weather featire which always fascinates me is how we live fairly close yet often have extremely different weather conditions.
LARGE gives more definition to the clouds and brings out the light and detail in the waves and the houses at the edge of our village.
