Love

The picture above shows a ceramic heart which one of my best friends gave to me. Her mom is an amazing ceramic artist and did all the painting, molding, glazing etc. on her own, by hand. It hangs proudly on my bedroom wall and is very near & dear to my heart (pun intended =]).

The white strip on it reads "Liefde" which is Afrikaans for "love". A very special gift indeed.
