Ceanothus + one extra

The Ceanothus is well past it's best now, with many of the bunches of little flowers turning to dust. However, this little visitor seemed to like what she found.

Looks like summer's back again after a few days of the weather not quite knowing what to do. But still no rain here, unless we call the overnight sprinkling rain. There wasn't even enough to show on the rain gauge.

Looks like Emma is beginning to recover after over a week with a chest infection - poor little thing. Does this mean we get to have a full night's sleep for a change? Anyway her little friend popped round a while back with her mum - she'd made a little necklace for her and a get well card. Oh to be five again.
