The inspector came out to look at the floorboards in the room I've just done up... I's not dry rot... It's wood worm! YUK!! Told not to put a carpet down till architect etc have been out to see it. I asked if they would be done by end of the month as that's when all my flooring and carpets are coming... NNNNNNooooooooooooo he said... There is a waiting list of up to a year to get it just looked at!!!!!!!! He said it looks like just one area of woodworm but if it has spread then I may need to be decanted! I'm not happy I can tell you!! All my work up the friggin wall (literally) if the walls need treated too. And if decanted... Permanent or temporary? I don't know.
