Living in The Path

This is a self seeded white Hardy Geranium, who has set up home on the surface of the path to my house.

I managed to save it from being rooted out by the council, they now respect it's space and it has avoided any routings for 2 years now.

It always looks good at the end of the day when it stands out from it's colourful neighbours.
It should not be the end of the day at this hour. But we seem to be living under a soft relentless grey fleece at the moment. It serves no purpose, it yields no rain. It just hovers, giving us early dusks. Not like the evening of The Evening Stroll. ... two hours after this was taken.
