Breaking stereotypes!

Katie this morning made me chuckle. She spent a very long time being entirely "girly". Playing beautifully at mummying, lovingly taking care of her doll and Monkey. She then sat with Baby in one hand, playing with the garage and cars with the other hand!
I got her all dressed and ready to go whilst running my bath this morning. I got in, and Katie ran up to the side, as she normally does. She got a bowl from the toy bucket and scooped some water from the bath, as she normally does. The next step (rather grossly) is normally to drink the bath water. Today however, she poured it over her head. So outfit number 2 followed.
We went to pick up Emma and her mummy, heading off to Montessori. When I told Katie where we were going, she said "fish" over and over, as they have a big tank of fish in the reception. As soon as we got there, she ran up and waved and said hello to them. We went into the hall and they had water trays out again. Guess who needed outfit number 3. But I really dont mind, i'd rather she got stuck in and enjoyed it. Harrison, Katie and Emma had a really nice bit of time giggling and chasing. They started off on the wooden rocker, making each other laugh by taking it in turns to rock it. They then chased through the big tunnels, shrieking with laughter.
After Montessori, Katie was shattered. I tried to give her some lunch before her sleep, but she was wilting rapidly, so was fast asleep by 11.45! When she got up from her sleep, she did eat a bit though thankfully. We headed out to the library and she charmed the ladies as usual. We then went and did a few jobs before coming home for a lot of brickbuilding, ball chasing and story reading!
