Hanging upside down
In the morning when I was waiting for the elevator, I saw a tiny sparrow sitting on the water fountain. She was turning herself upside down from time to time and drinking the drops falling from the tap. I couldn't help but praise the fact that the tiniest of creatures know how to fend for themselves. My day was very hectic yet productive. A few trips to the other buildings left me completely exhausted. Although a short walk, but the humidity leaves one completely breathless.
Highlights of the day:
The feedback of the faculty workshop I conducted last Wednesday was excellent. I have been asked to conduct another training session in June.
I also judged for a student level photography exhibition. Although, I am not a photography guru and consider myself a beginner, I found the job of judging quite easy as there were hardly any good entries.
Later in the evening, I went with my father to Hall Road and Nisbat Road. He did his own shopping and I did mine. Guess what I got? ... A Hoya Circular polarizing filter, which I will be trying out tomorrow as it is now late and I am way too exhausted.
My initial intent was to photograph the leaves, but as I came closer, I saw a few flies sitting on and hanging under the leaves and here is the result coming straight from the camera.
For the record, the weather today was in the range of 30 to 46 degree Celsius with 17% humidity. We are expecting rain on Sunday and we so need a shower.
Signing off ...
