~sun bonnet~

Today the sun was shining, the birds were singing and I was in my garden. It was a perfect day. We started the day with Sam going to the dentist to get his first orthodontic procedure. He now has a RPE (dentist talk for a device that stays in for 6 months to expand his palate) and he did very well. After I dropped him off I went to buy plants which probably is my favortie kind of shopping, then headed home to spend the afternoon in my garden. Will went to preschool and Paul and Lily went to have lunch with his mom. I was all alone in my backyard and it was bliss (except for the drippy nose and the headache) but since it was my garden day I popped a couple cold pills and some Excedrin and planted away.

Tonight both boys had games at the same time 30 minutes away from each other. Lily and I took Will to his, which was the close one and Paul and Sam were off to his game. Will had a great game. He was excited because it was his night to bring treats! Big deal when you are 5! Lily was great as always when there is so much to watch and is felling better. Here she is in her little sun bonnet watching Will play ball!
