Roadtrip Day 9: Queenstown and Te Anau

We stopped only briefly in Queenstown for lunch, a weather forecast, and a trip up the gondola for some luge rides. That's a fun spot. The weather was off and on but stayed mostly dry until just after we left town and headed down to Te Anau.

Campground review for Wingpig: Lakeview Holiday Park, Te Anau
Recommended. It's just on the edge of town. Large park with heaps of options ranging from tents to motel units. Heaps of space to spread out so you're not likely to end up squeezed against someone else. They also have coach tours to Milford Sound leaving right from their office.
