Nana nana, nana nana

BATBLIP!!!


After days of trying, finally I got a batblip!
I realise that it's a bit rubbish, and out of focus, and grainy: but it's probably a pipistrelle.

I finally worked out that it was going to be impossible to track a fluttering bat with a long lens, so the obvious answer was to get the wide-angle out, use flash and click away. It was hard to guess the focussing distance required...this is obviously not it. I only used the built-in flash, as well. Well, it's a learning process, and I might try it again one day.
