Goats cheese and caramelised poached pear

Warm goat's cheese and caramelised poached pear on a walnut and balsamic dressed salad. We had this starter at our wedding over 6 years ago (I made the menu for that too!) and it is always a popular one.

With regards to yesterday, thanks everyone for nice comments. We have now decided not to waste anymore energy on ignorant biggoted people whose mindset can not be changed. I now just pity the fools as BA would have said!

My wife's birthday tomorrow and 5 days till our holiday!!
