Nettles - Musical May

I've got quite a large bit of waste land behind my house. In fact it's access to a power sub station at the end of our street. It's not been used for many years and is largely over grown, mainly with nettles. I'm planning to cultivate it and use it as a veggie patch bit by bit over the next couple of years (I'm pretty sure I wont get in trouble for doing it I'm sure! in fact I'll be keeping it much more accessable than it is at the moment!). I've already made a start and this is where my 2 composting areas are (made form pallets). There is also a large dis-used water tank there. A few weeks back I filled this with earth and topped it off with compost and planted it with carrots (should keep the dreaded carrot root fly away hopefully!).

When I went around to water these I noticed this moth flitting about amongst the nettles so it quickly become todays blip (there seems to be quite a few moths appearing in the Musical "Moth" of May!!!).
