Municipal Elections

Today marked R jnr's very first time to join us at the polling stations!! He is one proud citizen tonight, and so are we! ;-)

We had a public holiday, in order to give each and every registered voter in South Africa the opportunity to cast a vote! We drove past the designated polling station a few times today, but the queues were impossibly long, so we decided to go just before 18:00, an hour before closing, what a brilliant decision! We were in and out in less than 30 minutes!!

I received a picture message from my neighbour about an hour ago, with a picture of Cecile, in ICU and still in a coma, although largely drug induced now! Please read my yesterday blip!!

The doctor allowed her to wake up for a few seconds this morning, but she was tóó restless, moved her head from side to side, which is totally unacceptable at this stage, she must be kept very still and calm, in order to prevent further brain injury! They are, nevertheless, very positive tonight, the neurologist spoke to them and he is positive that she is slightly improving!

Thank you for all the prayers going up for her!! We know it will carry her through!
