Cowgate Clock

In 1966 I started work in the Cowgate Nursery School.

This clock, which had been presented in 1928 along with playground equipment by James Farmer Brown, stood in the nursery grounds.
Many of the children came from the nearby Tron Square flats where the tenants once shared outside toilet facilities.

The Nursery is now demolished and the clock stands in the Tron Square yard.

At dinner time today I met up with Instography and Streak-Life at the Mosque.

Then I went to visit my nephew who happens to live in these Tron Square flats.
