Azerbaijani wine is fine!

A couple of weekends ago, I visited Château Monolit near Ismailli in the North of the country. To be honest, many of the local wines in this country are barely drinkable but I was astounded with the quality of the wines from here. I therefore purchased a couple of boxes.

Rich and fruity but dry and full of flavour, they are as close to a French wine Cab Serv as you could reasonably expect to find!
