Criterion

Now, I have something to say about the photographing of Piccadilly Circus. It is most difficult! This is because:

a) everything is covered in scaffolding
b) there are hordes of schoolchildren of every conceivable nationality milling around and getting in the way
c) Eros is much tinier than I remember and
d) you are liable to get hit on the head by a juggler, street dancer or some such act

So, on the whole, I wouldn't bother with Piccadilly as a photographic destination. So here instead is the Criterion Theatre facade, just next to the tiniest status of Eros.

I think this fella looks a bit unimpressed. Could be he thinks Piccadilly is over-rated too.
