The Innocent !?

This Skippy awaiting our lesson at our instructors yard, butter wouldn't melt would it. Tuesday lessons away from home with one horse or two is always a time drain that makes blips difficult or late. Tonights lesson start and I was checking with my mentor on Skippys soundness or was he just backing off the leg when he exploded in the top corner, a sharp left airbourn turn was followed by an arched back leap in to the air, upon landing he bucked. At this point I was launched ( thoughts of becoming one of GB's few astronauts came and went) high into the middle of the arena, my landing was heavy but flat on my back, which along with the body protector means once Skippy had been caught and given some extra work on the lunge I was able to complete my lesson, and achieve some good transitions through walk, trot and canter. I will try and catch up with coments later when the head ache and stiffness wear off :-((
