Mini Twister

A pretty stunning view of a small, nothing in fact, twister spinning across what I think would be 9th Avenue in Calgary taken from the observation deck of the Calgary Tower. These little dust storms pop up all over the place here from time to time. I haven't been in town long, having just moved here a couple of weeks ago but I managed o drive through one of these on my second day!

This one was visible enough to stop traffic, and the height was quite something. It spun itself out very quickly and probably never got up to anything like dangerous speed but drivers below didn't want to go through!
