Hello Jay - welcome to my garden

I was just feeding the cat when I glanced through the window.

This magnificent jay is usually in the woods about a mile away. Perhaps it was the lard that brought him here ?

I had the macro lens on and no time to change it - not the best for capturing an unexpected visitor
