Blurred images
After yesterday's triumph of moving people, I headed out into central London excited about getting more blurred images. Amy and I took the tube to Embankment and then walked along the river to Westminster, down the Mall to Buckingham Palace and then along into Knightsbridge for some shopping.
My aim was to get one of the well known London landmarks in the background with moving people in the foreground. Well this proved harder than expected just because the pavements are too narrow to get a good distance between myself and the first subject and the roads are too busy to stand in the middle of. I did manage to get a couple of (what I thought were) great Blips of Amy stood still outside Westminster Abbey while the throngs of tourists moved about around her. But quite by accident I think this one is the best of the lot.
I always think this memorial to the Women of WWII is special. It evokes quite an emotion when you think that women had only been 'allowed' to vote for 10 years prior to the war and then played such an important role in helping our country. Anyways, as I was stood trying to blip a cyclist riding past the memorial a London bus came hurtling past and this was the result. Hope you like.
Later on Amy and I had pizza and cans in our hotel room before we went out with Luke, Mani, Rach and Andy. We started out in Camden and worked our way down to Chalk Farm - it was a cracking night and good to catch up with Mr Wendall.
