Terrific Tuesday. lunch out with lab mates and data analysis.

Biking to work has been wonderful thus far. I really enjoy the long downhill on the way home: the breeze rushing past, the sun shining. it feels so wonderful to be outside.

The apt is cramped; boxes have multiplied and are gathering strength. Soon, I'll be surrounded. Ready for the move, but a few things will be missed. The light, the numerous windows, the vintage ventilating electric fan; its our kitchen exhaust fan. its wonderfully loud.

Pictured here it's closed; but all I have to do is pull a beaded cord and the lid hinges up and pull another cord, a fabric line and the fan spins on.
