Word Problems

Having serious problems opening Microsoft Word now. *sigh* It never ends. This is a shot of an article I've been reading for my gender final.

Thesis: The images and standards presented to us by romance-genre movies influence our expectations in future real relationships.

So far, my thesis is proving true.

The girl closed her journal. The waitress was back at the table.
"Refil, hon?"
"No thank you."
The waitress shrugged. She glanced again at the girl. Not her problem. She moved back to the kitchen to return the dirty dishes.
The girl gathered her camera and journal. On her way out, she left a larger than normal tip. She didn't know anything about the waitress' life, but figured it was always easier to be generous. Just in case.
