Day with the Rents

Today I spent some time hanging out with my friend Kristin and her parents! She is also a vet student but completed an MPH degree beforehand and just had her graduation on Saturday. I made her a card and gave her some wine to celebrate her achievement. Her and her parents hung out at my house for a while and then we picked up Mikey and went to lunch at Umbrellas (my favorite beach bar/restaurant). I really enjoyed getting to know them! Parents can be really interesting and fun to meet. Then you get to see what kind of background your friends came from and how it shaped them. =) It was a good day.
