Walk to school

Pretty soon it'll be just Heidi and I walking to school together. But for now J and H seem to enjoy each other's company.

I got out of class today, as some of us TAs have started an advanced apprenticeship (or something like that) and there was paper-work to be filled out and a first module to begin. Made a change anyway, and I could do with a new project. I bet it ends up more time consuming than they're making out though. Still, I'll give it a shot. Best thing is I have to take Key Skills English and Maths papers - GCSEs and A levels not good enough, apparently.

Doug got back nice and early and so was able to pick the kids up from school. Then after dinner he took Joe to the snooker club to play a couple of games on a full size table. I'm looking forward to my turn to take him, actually. Chloe suggested us girls watch a film, so I dug out Calendar Girls and we snuggled up. Nice that we can watch 'grown-up' films together now. Then I finished my day with a swim and a couple of custard creams. (Not quite part of my 'must lose weight' plan, but never mind eh?)
