Two in a row
After not finding, let alone blipping, a chipmunk all spring, I have now blipped two in a row. I blipped some birds that I liked today, especially a magnolia warbler, but they were too far away and needed extensive cropping, even with my 300 mm lens. Warblers are a challenge because they are always on the move and like to hang out in the tree tops.
Today's weather is not an improvement. Plain and simple: spring forgot to show up so far this year. I wonder if it ever will? I read in the paper today that we can expect cooler and wetter than normal weather right on into summer. Ergh! I hope they are wrong.
