Inside the Basilica of Notre Dame de Fourviere

So having successfully arrived in Lyon the previous night, the wee man and I went exploring. Off to the centre of Lyon and its old town. We took the funicular railway up to the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière, from where a great view of the city can be had. The basilica itself is a pretty impressive edifice with something of a lavish interior - all gilt and stained glass, statues and paintings on the ceiling.
