PowerLunch

Today was my last day reading to James (2nd grader that I volunteer to read for 30 minutes once a week) thru the program PowerLunch.

I gave him five books to read over the summer. (see above). He loves sports so I stuck to his favorite topic.

I told him I could not attend the party next week as I will be in London. He said to me "Why don't you give money to your friend so he comes here instead of you going over to see him...that way you can be here for the party" that made me laugh.

I hope to volunteer again next school year and read to James again.

Everyone should volunteer a little in their life....It is an awesome feeling.
