Amwaj Lagoon

Amwaj is a relatively new development in Bahrain situated north of the airport on reclaimed land. The speed and amount of expansion has been very much curtailed by the economic downturn in the region.

The photograph shows Amwaj Lagoon - the central community area which will eventually be home to many shops, coffee chops and restaurants.
