Jack Straws

Today was marking day. There are many more marking days to come.
My eldest daughter had a friend round after school and I persuaded them to play an old-fahnioned game of 'Jack Straws'. They were not impressed at all. I used to spend hours with my friend playing this. The girls said it was really boring !
Now that SATS is over, my daughter asked if her friend could stay the night. Not a good idea on a week day. Hubby and I agreed to it but on the condition that they go straight to sleep after lights out. If they don't, they will be put in separate bedrooms.
