I Can See You!

Jane and I had to go to the garden centre to collect the forgotten item from last week. On the way we went to High Head Castle, a ruin near Ivegill.

It is ever such a beautiful place. Ruined, possibly been in a fire at sometime in the past, but so... elegant? refined? just beautiful.

It looks like it is waiting for someone to come along and make it live again. Someone is trying to; the cellars are clean and tidy and there are signs of clearing going on.

I can hope!!

This angel is one of two, (I will put some other shots on my Flickr later) she guards the entrance to the buildings forecourt, watching and waiting.
