difference

we're having some outdoor concerts this week at church and we were setting up this afternoon. we don't start till tomorrow but it seems like people were ready for us today....

it's crazy, this compound is just some few hundred metres from where i live and work but the whole atmosphere is completely different from the slightly more wealthy side of town.

even little things are very different, like all the children shouting 'muzungu, muzungu' (white person!) and 'how are you, i'm fine'. a couple of hundred metres down the road and you just don't get that.
