Rudgwick, Clay Boxfeeder and Stockpile.

As promised to Chaos the Rudgwick Brick Works.

This is the start of the process the stockpile is at the rear of this machine, and you can see the Front End Loader (digger) ready to feed the clay into the box-feeder.
This is actually two box-feeders in one, as the left hand side is where the fuel (Anthracite) is put and that lies on the bottom of the conveyor and the Clay lies on the top, both materials are then fed via the conveyor (on the right) to the clay preparation, which will be shown tomorrow.
To give you some idea of what this is here is our Box-feeder at Ewhurst works this is on a much smaller scale and is a lot older.
The ony new item is the grey gearbox that was fitted a few weeks ago when the old one gave up working.
