My world through my lens

By CatherinePound

Doing things differently!

Why?

Because I'm 2 years old and I can! Sometimes my child makes me question myself and the way I see things. This I'm sure is likely to happen more and more in the coming years! I kept suggesting to her to rather climb up the steps and slide down the slide, but no.. Mummy this is much more fun! If she lost her footing, which she did a couple times, she just slid down on her tummy and no harm came to her... so why not let her explore the world the way she wants to?

Today is a busy busy day, we've already been to the shop and the park, she's currently napping, then it's lunch, followed by a midwife appointment and a visit from her friend Sam and his lovely Mummy. Somewhere in this day I need to fit in a little bit of ironing... it may wait till madam's bed time at this rate!

So...the photo... taken in manual (look at me and my bad self!! :P) yep... I've managed to not only keep an eye on my toddler but also tweak my settings until I got them as I thought best (whether that be right or very wrong! LOL). I will get to the bottom of this ISO, Aperture and shutter speed malarky eventually!!! :D

Oh... and I know it looks like a headless child climbing a slide due to the angle... but I quite like that I can see her face in the reflection... :D

Hope you're all having a lovely day!

Love Cath xx
