I love the rain. It may not be great for photography but it's the perfect weather for so many other things; sitting in coffee shops drinking leisurely coffees, getting lost in the pages of a good book, an afternoon spent in the company of a favourite guitar, a trip to the cinema, a visit with good friends....

I took this shot on my way to catch up wth friends this afternoon. It's not great but it was very wet and very windy so this is the best of all the shots I took. I guess I could do an indoor shot now that I'm home but I'm kind of tired and can't really be bothered. Besides I've always liked the look of this building - seems to me there's something kind of fairly tale about the tower bit at the front. Perhaps one day I'll go back and do a better shot :)
