Snapshots of reality

James says hi. We went for coffee today before my exam and he gave me the end of his rocky road! Today's exam (computer methods for mechanical engineering) was ridiculously good. I found it really easy and finished half an hour early, and was the first person to leave. I even checked all the questions and all my answers to make sure I hadn't made a mistake.

Today I visited:
Halifax (Bank of Scotland) [After they rang me to tell me I'd been approved for a credit card and had to go into the branch to sign the terms and conditions, I arrived, was told to wait, 45 minutes later a man came to ask me if I was waiting for something and then explained that they couldn't do anything in the branch and there was no way I'd get my card in time for India]

Lloyds TSB [Tried to take out all my money, apparently you aren't allowed to do that without a card any more so I was made to feel like a criminal and the supervisor had to allow my transaction with 2 pieces of ID]

HSBC [Very nice and friendly. I like HSBC.]

And I called Orange. They're very good. They're replacing my phone AGAIN, because it keeps turning off when I call people. And that's very annoying.

And I need to call Dell. Because the new power adapter they sent me is apparently fake, and my laptop doesn't charge with it half the time.

Phew!
