Postcard

Had a quick stroll, at lunchtime, along to the local row of abandoned shops. There are rich pickings to be had, so expect to see more of them over the next few weeks.

I know this isn't technically a postcard, but this record label theme isn't all that easy you know. Sometimes my take is so literal that it reminds me of legs & co dancing to the Clash's Bank Robber on top of the pops (no online footage that I can find). Things are going to have to get abstract soon, unless I stumble across an old english spelling bee.

Anyway I'm far too young to remember postcard records from first time round, I'm more aware of their influence on the indie scene across Scotland and the UK as a whole. This is the only Josef K song I own (and indeed the only one I've ever heard!).
