Not-so-unlucky Friday 13th

So it was Friday 13th today, but I had a good day. Got lots of work done, beautiful day and my boyfriend arrived for the weekend. Result!

After much manipulation and muchos advice from my colleagues Ken and Wai, I came up with this beauty. The original photo was a portrait photo of the stunning blue evening sky behind my house. With a little help from GIMP and my colleagues, I intensified the different blues and created a wonderful contrast between the light and shadows. Thanks Ken and Wai! Hooray for GIMP!
