A Little Sun, A Little Rain

I had big plans outside this afternoon, but these quick rain showers that kept coming through changed plans. (I wound up taking a nap instead) We'd have a bit of sunshine but it didn't take long for another shower to drizzle through. It's a bit on the coolish side and I realized wild blackberries are blooming. We are having blackberry winter then. I think this is the last "winter" that we have. I hope so.

I almost used a pileated woodpecker photo today. One was here working on a dead stump.
