Blipmeet #2
Today's second South-West Blipmeet took place in Bath when I met up with Serpentine and gingermonster for a leisurely stroll along the side of the Avon, blessed with good weather. Along the way we were treated to the sight of a peregrine falcon feeding its chicks and learned quite a bit about it from the RSPB.
The second half of the day took place after gingermonster had taken her leave, and involved a look at the newly re-opened Holburne Museum and an exploration of Sydney Gardens immediately behind it - somewhere I'd never been before. The walk back to the car through Henrietta Gardens provided me with the opportunity to photograph a squirrel in front of a lily pond, only the second time I have ever pointed a camera at one - and so that had to be my blip.
There's a Flickr album of the day linked to below.
