Antonine Wall

Bit of a grey day today, weatherwise. This morning, we popped up to see MaggieD's mum and take her a pair of new shoes. We had seen earlier that the bluebells under the old oaks along the wall were in flower so we shot over this afternoon to take a few photos. We missed them last year when some philistine with a grass cutter beheaded the lot in full bloom.
I am not sure but I don't think bluebells show up properly in photos - or maybe I'm just not getting it right!
Whatever, this is just a lovely place to wander and enjoy.
