friend or foe?

So, this afternoon we pottered in the garden, in between rain showers. The rain had just subsided and I noticed this critter near my strawberry plants, nonchalantly munching her way through the long grass.

We're quite amenable to bunnies in the garden - don't really see a problem with them. We protect our young veg as much as we can, and they're welcome to eat the grass and fertilise the lawn. But many of our neighbours feel differently about them - some will tell you with some pride about how many they shot last week...
