Unknown legend
Somewhere on a desert highway
She rides a Harley-Davidson
Her long blonde hair flyin' in the wind
The chrome and steel she rides
Collidin' with the very air she breathes
The air she breathes
Today's title and quote represent a departure from my current series (do you know what I'm talking about? Nothing is revealed). Normal service will be resumed... Someday maybe, who knows baby?
Hardly a desert highway, I spotted this in a car park in Dundee city centre when I was getting to the end of an afternoon bike ride from home to Camperdown Park to Liff to Knapp to Abernyte to Kinnaird to Rait to Errol Station to Longforgan to Dundee and uphill at the end to home. 34.8 miles.
Really enjoyed that but more significant was our morning service, in the community centre as we've cleared out the church building ready for the builders coming in for refurbishment and extension. Seemed to go well, good atmosphere.
PS Before anybody tells me 34.8 miles is/isn't a long way, a few thousand people cycled the Etape Caledonia today (81 miles and some silly amount of climbing), and look at this.
