Not been up to much this weekend, mainly pottering about the house and catching up with chores/jobs. This looks the main cause of the problem in an old (BT Voyager 210) router that a friend recently replaced. These two (capacitors) shouldn't have that slight bulging at their tops. They've definitely 'blown'.
If that's all that's required to replace, it'll cost about 50 pence to repair, though it might be worthwhile replacing a few others whilst I'm in there. They'd have lasted longer if the router hadn't been left on 24/7...
