Russell Prichard

'Russell Prichard' produces its deep magenta flowers all summer long. It was raised at Prichard's nursery in Riverslea in Hampshire, which explains the name. In colder areas, it may need some protection during winter.

A grey and rainy day.

We finally plucked up the courage to go to the allotment after lunch and the rain stayed away, mostly, although it was cold. we fought a good fight against the perennial weeds and returned, whacked, 3 hours later.

We are making progress, though a bit of rain is needed to loosen up the sub-soil.

This geranium is in the garden at home. It was that or a horse-tail!
