This is the magnificent Paula Rego gallery in Cascais. A wonderful town 30 minutes from Lisbon.
This is a magnificent gallery dedicated to the work of Paula Rego. It's not usual for a living artist to have a gallery dedicated to her. But here it is in Cascais.
At the moment it has a fantastically curated exhibition by the artist containing work by David Hockney, Grayson Perry, Lucien Freud and Madame Yevonde and others who have inspired her.
The gallery is beautifully designed by the Portugese architect Eduardo Souto de Moura and has one of the best lighting setups I've ever seen in a gallery.
