First up - we are not at home to mister Grumpy today. Messr Grumpy and Tired have been banished to the attic. Second up, no comments from me of a personal nature today.

Today's blip was taken during an entirely commodious visit to John Lewis to buy some holiday odds and ends. We didn't in the end achieve much of said shopping (the kiddies' parasols won't fit our camping chairs), but that didn't seem to matter much, probably due to the excellent cappuccinos and enormous slab of lemon drizzle cake.

The prep for Spain continued with booking overnight accommodation (an architecturally-challenged Premier Inn near Bristol) and our first camp-site (near Potes in the Picos de Europa). Also washed the car to within an inch of its life, and mine, when I almost fell off the steps.

After all that I deserve an hour's mindless computer gaming. Yay!
