Somerset House

Woke up this morning and found that after the spectacular water leak last night ( a 4 story fountain in the middle of the street) that Thames Water had cut off the mains supply. Luckily we had the foresight last night to fill a kettle so after a much needed cup of tea, we went to The Table for breakfast (yum) and then across the road to the Miro exhibition in the Tate modern which was brilliant but packed!

In the spirit of adventure we crossed Southwark bridge and wandered up to Waterloo the wrong side of the river ending up at Somerset House which I hadn't been to for years. The blip is the view over the quad at the centre.

I wandered over to the Southbank centre afterwards to listen to a choir before getting the loony infested 381 bus home to find that we have water!!!!!!
